FUNDACJA POLSKA-EUROPA-POLONIA
FOUNDATION “POLAND - EUROPE - POLISH COMMUNITY”

The main task of “Polska – Europa - Polonia” Foundation as a non-profit, non-government organisation is to provide people interested with all knowledge possible concerning the advantages stemming from the development of information society and preparing them to function in an information society. Information society is characterised by the fact that over a half of its national income will come from the use of the opportunities given by modern technologies and computer science. Thanks to the application of modern technologies the informative society among others will give the following advantages: facilitate interpersonal communication, ensure fast access to information from all over the world, create a friendly and efficient administration, facilitate teaching of modern techniques and conduct a remote education via internet (e-learning), lower unemployment through: enabling the access to information on job vacancies, increasing the number of workplaces in new professions connected with computer technology and internet and also by making it easier to get a job or carry out an economic activity via Internet, enable growth in the development of small and medium companies thanks to an easier contact with administration offices, clients and partners, and the creation of cheaper workplaces. (tele-work)

The goal of establishing the Foundation and its filia - PEP Clubs in the country and abroad is also entering into tighter relationships and communication with the Poles living abroad, far from Homeland and including representatives of close to 20-milion Polish community abroad to discussion on the subject of the future development of our country. This will help Poland and Poles in the nearest future to find a place in the world and in Europe worth of our history and tradition, and also to suitably prepare a common standpoint in the further talks related to joining the European Union. Then we will be able to take into consideration reliably, quietly and in detail all the advantages and threats connected with this decision. Communication in this respect will be ensured by the information placed on internet pages, annual reviews of radio and television programmes made by the Polish community abroad at the International Film Festivals in Niepokalanow, as well as communication with well developed clubs’ network in the country and abroad using modern technical tools, including internet radio and television. Establishment of PEP Clubs should also facilitate a development of local communities, creation of workplaces and preparation to the professions requiring the knowledge of modern technologies. In order to achieve these goals the clubs will gather all set of printed materials, audio-tapes, multimedia programmes and databases enabling a quick access to internet resources from all over the world.
